Herbert E. “Herb” McCutchen, 92, Bloomington, IN passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Gentry Park Assisted Living. Herb was born December 6, 1926 in Bloomington, IN the son of Gillium and Mae (Nunn) McCutchen. Herb had worked at Golconda Corp. for eleven years as a sales engineer and became Products Manager of the Diamond Division of W. F. Meyers Company at Bedford, IN and was with them for twenty three years, retiring in 1992. Herb is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Jean (Golden) McCutchen; two sons, Daniel (Lynn) McCutchen of Bloomington, IN and Keith (Ann) McCutchen of St. Petersburg, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael C. McCutchen in 1969, two brothers, Harold and Hurshel McCutchen and his parents. Visitation for Herb will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN. His Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
