Herbert Allen James August 28, 1953 – June 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Herbert Allen James, 65, formerly of Hunter passed away on Saturday, June, 29, 2019 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1953, to the family of Jesse and Esther James at Stuttgart. Known as Allen, he graduated from Brinkley High School in 1971. Raised in the Baptist faith, Allen attended the Hunter Baptist Church, during his childhood and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church in Des-Arc. In 1973 he was united in marriage to Mary Adele Bryant. Their home was blessed through the years, with the joys and memories of raising a son, Jason Allen James. Allen was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Norman Lee James. He is survived by; wife, Mary Bryant; son, Jason Allen James and wife, Rebecca of Bigelow, AR.; brother, Clarence Earl James and wife Patricia of Veridgris, OK.; sister, Gale Wilson of Hunter, AR.; three grand children, Brandon Tidwell, Ethan Shelton, Nicholas James, and one great grandchild, Bentley Tidwell.
