Helen L. Calvin age 85, of Forest, died on Friday July 5, 2019 at the Heritage in Findlay. She was born on July 7, 1933 to the late Raymond and Nina (Cole) Trout in her parents home in Biglick Twp Hancock County. She married John W. Calvin on July 3, 1951 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2009. She is survived her son Charles E. Calvin of Forest, 5 grandchildren Angela Rector, Casey Nelson, Kelli Keckler, Nathan Zofcin and William Miller, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, a brother Glenn (Jane) Trout of Florida and a sister Janice Bowman of Findlay. She is preceded in death by her daughter Roberta L. Harbison, brothers Gerald Trout, Leon Trout and Mark Trout, brother-in-law Jim Bowman and sisters-in-law Elma,Gloria, Karol and Jeanette Trout. Helen was a graduate of Riverdale High School. She retired from North Electric in Kenton and also retired as a bus driver for Riverdale school district. She was a member of the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church and the Latham Chapter Order Eastern Star #364 where she held many offices. Helen was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Pinochle Club and the 200 Club at Riverdale. She enjoyed reading, traveling, listening to country music, camping, playing games of Chance and had a great love for animals. She also enjoyed riding her own Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a member of the AMA Motorcycle Club. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Hueston Cemetery, Forest officiated by Rev. Brett Kelly. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest.
