Hayden Spicer, 80, of Deputy, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky Born January 15, 1939 in Perry Co., KY, he was the son of the late Dock Spicer and Lizzie (Smith) Spicer. He married May 16, 1962 to Marie (Combs) Spicer, who passed away January 2, 1993. He was a retired employee of Rendall Indrustries, Vevay, Indiana . Survivors include: Daughters: Polly (Rick) Arbuckle, Deputy, Indiana; Beth (R.C.) Smith, Austin, Indiana; Son: Phil Spicer, Covington, Ky.; Eric Spicer, Deputy, Indiana; Sisters: Ruby Wells, Kentucky; Clead Spicer, Michigan; Mable Spicer, Michigan; Jean Anderson, Michigan; Stell Powell, Kentucky; Brothers: Layton Spicer, Michigan; Sam Spicer, Michigan. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Several great grandchildren . He was preceded in death by His grandson James Darrell Collins brother Paul Spicer and sisters Beula Graber, Fannie Spicer Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and after 9 am Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
