Harriet B. (Reichard) Derr, age 98, formerly of Derr’s Road, Bloomsburg, died at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Vintage Knolls Senior Living Center, Danville, where she resided for five years. Born in Madison Township, Columbia County on Nov. 22, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Merlin and Mary E. (Rudy) Reichard. She was a lifelong resident of Madison Township until moving to Vintage Knolls. Harriet was employed by Milco , Industries, Inc., Bloomsburg for many years and also assisted in the operation of the family farm. She was a member of the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church where she was a member of the choir for many years. She and her husband, Paul E. Derr celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on December 10, 2018 and he also resides at Vintage Knolls; two sons: Gerald P. Derr, and his wife Diane, Bloomsburg and Dennis L. Derr, and his wife Mary Ann, Zionsville; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p. m. in the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church, 604 Dutch Hill Road, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. George Zerbe, officiating. Interment will follow in the Dutch Hill Cemetery. Viewing at the Church from 1-2 p. m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W.
