Harold L. Liles, age 87, of Belle Center, Ohio passed away at 1:23 A.M. Monday, July 15, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio. He was born in Kenton, Ohio August 25, 1931, to the late Lemuel H. and Alta Mae (Beck) Liles. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Lavonda Clements. On January 14, 1953, Harold married the former Joanne Lucas, and she survives along with their five children, Sheryl (Myron) Spencer, Russell (Penny Oswalt) Liles, Laura (Anthony) Diggs, Harold (Sylvia) Liles, and Richard (Diane) Liles; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A farmer, Harold was a member of the Indian Lake Fraternal Order of Eagles #3615 and a life-member of the Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39 in Lakeview. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 12:00 noon Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Fairview McDonald Cemetery in Kenton, Ohio. The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Belle Center.
