Gladys’ Obituary Gladys Charlene Webb, 90, of Norborne, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. Gladys was born on January 1, 1929, in Norborne, the daughter of John Alvin and Mary Lucille (Albrecht) Henderson. She was united in marriage to Guy Archibald Webb, “Jr.”, of Sugartree, on September 18, 1948; he preceded her in death on January 19, 2011. Survivors include: three sons: Charles (Janet) Webb of Richmond, Russell Webb of Norborne, Darrell (Sue) Webb of Carrollton; one sister, Verna Mae (Ernest) Melville of Norborne; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Webb of Osage Beach; two grandchildren: Jared (Cassie) Webb and Carmen (Marty) Buller; three step-grandchildren: Tami Rosales, Kimela (Gabe) Coates, and Janelle (T.J.) Allnutt; six great- grandchildren: Noah Buller, Olivia Buller, Blakely Buller, Myka Webb, Payton Webb, and Sterling Webb; six step-great-grandchildren: Serena Rosales, Paige (Nick) Fischer, Naomi Coates, Michael Coates, Garrett Allnutt, and Jayden Allnutt; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Vera Bowman. Gladys was reared and educated in the area of her birth and graduated from the Carrollton High School. In addition to being a housewife and homemaker, she was an Avon Sales Representative for 26 years. She loved animals; she especially loved her dogs, Tiffany “Boogie” and Mr. Jack. Gladys loved bowling and golf. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norborne. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gilead Cemetery or H.E.L.P. Services in Carrollton. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
