Gerry’s Obituary Obituary Gerry Hawley, 71 Gerry Dean Hawley, 71, of Blackfoot, passed away, Monday, July 8, 2019 at her home. Gerry was born September 25, 1947 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ralph Colvin and Barbara Ann Hill Colvin. Gerry married Forest Hawley on September 8, 1964. Together, they raised four children in the Howe valley and later in Blackfoot. He preceded her in death in 2006. Forest did a lot of exploratory well drilling, moving them to various places around the west. Gerry met Jerry Hook whom she enjoyed the past 14 years with. Gerry was a waitress at various places in Blackfoot. She also was a retired state potato inspector. Gerry enjoyed yard work, gardening, and camping. She loved motorcycle rides, and weekly rides to Atomic City and spending time with her children. Gerry is survived by her children, Sabin Hawley and Arden (Ashlee) Hawley both of Idaho Falls, and Serrina (Steve) Slay of Blackfoot; siblings, Alan (Karen) Albright of Portland, OR, Mike (Becky) Albright of Portland, Shannon (Deanna) Albright of Shelley, Greg (Beverly) Colvin of Salmon River Valley, Marsha (Larry) Aragon of California, Joy Stuart of Idaho Falls and Marci Ann of Idaho Falls; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Pete Flores; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Hawley; parents, Ralph and Barbara Colvin; daughter, Frostina Hawley; brother, Randy Colvin; grandson, Jordin Hawley; and sister, Terry Flores.
