Geraldine’s Obituary Attica – Geraldine (Mullins) Purcell, 56, Attica, passed away quietly with her family at her side on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 10:18 a.m. following an illness with cancer. Geraldine was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on October 8, 1962. She was the daughter of the late Rufus Edward and Matlean Louise (Adkins) Mullins. Geraldine was raised in Kentucky, graduating from Bourbon High School. She later moved to Indiana in the late 80’s and settled in Independence. She has lived most of her adult life in Warren County and for the past eight years in rural Attica. Geraldine worked at Haan Crafts in Otterbein for the past fifteen years. She had been attending the Pine Village United Methodist Church and just recently been baptized. She enjoyed raising a flower garden and spending time with her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed the time spent with her fiancé-Randy Copas, riding on his Harley Davidson. She leaves behind her fiancé-Randy Copas of Attica; two sons, Eddie (Heather) Purcell, Pine Village and Travis (Odesa) Purcell, Kramer; two daughters, Jacquelene (Brad) Adwell, Fowler and Matlean (Cody) Radford, Pine Village; three step sons, Travis Copas, West Lafayette; Tommie (“J.J.”) Purcell, Williamsport and Joshua (Crystal) Purcell, Williamsport; a step daughter, Amber (Kyle) Kleptz, Terre Haute; four brothers, David (Michelle) Mullins, Corinth, KY; Ronnie (Anna Lou) Mullins, Fairborn, OH; Dennis (Cindy) Mullins, Huntsville, AL and Danny (Brenda) Mullins, Pennington Gap, VA; five sisters, Geraldine’s twin, Alene (Dale) Howard, Georgetown, KY; Deborah Brown, Winchester, KY; Donna (Charles) Phillips, Stanford, KY; Audrey (Rick) Darnell, Georgetown, KY and Diana Jeffers, Lexington, KY; thirteen grandchildren, McKenzy, Nadia, McCoy Adwell; Kaleb, Hunter, Wyatt, Ailea, Kember and Drew Purcell; Alexis, Aaden, Josiah and James Radford; thirteen step-grandchildren, Gage Copas; Maverick, Ruger and Knox Kleptz; a baby girl due in October; Mya, Jamie and Josh Purcell; Destin McLellen; T.J. and Lilly Purcell; Joseph and Madison Buchanan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Mullins and a sister, Shirley Smith. Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, July 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Justus Cemetery, Oxford. Memorials may be made to the Franciscan Hospice Group.
