Gayle’s Obituary Funeral services for Barbara Gayle George-Moore, 79, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. She passed away Monday night, July 8, 2019, at her residence in Wills Point. Gayle was born September 11, 1939, in Dallas, the daughter of Robert George and Vada Vanderpool George. She was raised in Dallas and was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School in 1958. She also attended a business college. On February 26, 1960, she married Harlan Moore in Dallas. Gayle was formerly employed as a customer service representative for Owen Corning Fiberglas in Dallas for thirty-one years, retiring on August 31, 1997. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and working outside in her yard. She lived in Garland prior to moving to Wills Point on January 15, 2003. Gayle was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vada George and a sister, Roberta Lennon. Gayle is survived by her husband, Harlan Moore, of Wills Point; son, Troy Erskine Moore & wife, Cheryl Ann, of Wills Point; sister, Linda Rutherford, of McKinney; two granddaughters, Brandi Nicole Hercegovac & husband, Edin and Holli Cheri Nash & husband, Jared and six great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Carly, Benson, Ryan, Adin and Aden. Family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to service. Read More
