Gary Wayne Sutton of Newport, born August 27, 1960, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 1, 2019.He was preceded in death by his father Roy Sutton; mother Lucille Sutton Miller; grandparents King and Irene Stokely, Sr. and Calvin and Bessie Sutton. He is survived by his girlfriend Marilyn Johnson; brother Larry Sutton (Deb); sister Berneice (Bill) McMahan; daughters Rachel Pinskey, Amanda Carver, and Cindy Sutton; son Jeremy Sutton; grandchildren Chezni and Aubri Carver, Brayden, Jackson, and Mason Sutton, and Nathan, Noah, Rebecca, Hannah Cail; great-grandchild Lora; nieces Marcie (Chad) Fox, Amber (Josh) Broyles, and Lora Sutton; nephew Jason (Shelly) Lewis; great-nieces Tiffany (Luke) Mackenzie, Brook Broyles; great-nephews Robert Spencer, Eli Broyles, and Layton Turner; special friends Brandon, Bailey, Brayden and Brooke Johnson, Amber Henry, Oscar and Ruth Arms, Robin Overholt, Elias and Desiree Dalton, Skimp Henry, Josh Henry, Cheri Sutton, and his racing family; and several aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends. The family would like to say a special “Thanks” to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and Tennova Convalescent Center. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Blanchard and Rev. Kalum Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
