Gary Wayne Hartwell of Ironton, MO passed away June 17, 2019 in Festus, MO at the age of 81 years, and 13 days. He was born June 4, 1938 in Connersville, Indiana, a son of the late Harold and Gertrude Morgan Hartwell. Surviving are three daughters; Meredith Jones and husband Mark of Farmington, Andrea Hartwell and Michelle Hartwell of Indiana; four sons, Guy Hartwell, Greg Hartwell, Dana Hartwell and friend Connie all of Indiana, and Gary Marshall and wife Jordan Hartwell of Florida; one sister Cathy Rich of Indiana, many grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Vic Hartwell. Gary was an accomplished artist, and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an active member of the Iron County Democrat Club and loved antique cars. A private family service was held and his ashes will be interred in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
