Freddy Beal, age 88, of St. Clair, passed away July 16, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 6, 1930 to the late Ray and Rosetta Beal in Maxwell, Iowa. Freddy married Doris Ann Morgan on October 7, 1950 who preceded him in death on June 11, 1998 after 48 years of marriage. Freddy worked for Ford Motor Company as a welder at the Romeo Truck Plant and retired after 30 years. Freddy loved to fish, go out to dinner, and play bingo. He also liked to travel and play the Michigan Lottery. Freddy attended Columbus Bible Church, and loved to spend time with his family and talking to his brothers in Iowa. He is survived by his children; Mark (Shirley) Beal, Donald (Cami) Beal, Jeffrey (Pamela) Beal, Laura (Bill) Solgot; grandchildren, Michelle, Gabriel, Jason, Brandon, Justin, Matt, Holly, Joseph; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild; brothers Richard (Gene) Beal, Ronnie Beal; special friend and caretaker Patty Barton; friends, Dee, Jane, Tom, Dave, Mike and Mark; along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson Joshua Solgot. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Blue Water Hospice or Kids in Distress.
