Franklin’s Obituary Franklin J. “Satch” Bivins, 85, of Moultrie, died Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Cobblestone Health and Rehab. Born on March 23, 1934, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late James M. Bivins and Lillian Wills Bivins. He was a lifelong resident of Moultrie. He was the owner of Bivins’ All-American Realty where he was active in the real estate business for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Heritage Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Frank Bivins; and sister, Barbara Freeman. Mr. Bivins is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wyolene Bivins; sons, Jim and Lisa Bivins, and David and Katrina Bivins, both of Moultrie; grandson, Russ Murphy; granddaughters, Ashley Lawrence and husband Cecil and Emily Adams and husband Carter; great grandchildren, Annie Bivins, Skyla Bivins, Lanier Lawrence, Anna Claire Lawrence, and Charlie David Adams. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 5:30pm – 7:00pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. No formal services are planned.
