Frank’s Obituary SHERWOOD, Frank Wood, 93 of Lebanon, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Born to Jonathan F. and Ruth (nee: Edwards) Sherwood on March 30, 1926 in Lebanon, OH. Frank was a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School, a United States Air Force Veteran and a 1947 graduate of Miami University. He worked for many years as a Contract Negotiator for Wright Patterson Air Force Base, was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church from 1959 to present time, a member of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club, Lebanon Elks, Warren County Historical Society and the Dinner Club. When his children were younger he was active with the Boy Scouts, camping, fishing and enjoyed being outdoors. Frank traveled to visit his grandchildren and traveled with Barbara and the Dinner Club often. He was a handyman who could fix almost anything. Frank lived a happy life and it always involved a good cup of coffee. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara Sherwood, brother, William Sherwood and sister, Esther Sherwood Lee. Frank is survived by his two sons, Jonathan (Heather) Sherwood of Lebanon and Stephen (Lorraine) Sherwood of Oceanside, CA, daughter, Valerie (Michael) Rask of Oregonia, seven grandchildren, Dylan Sherwood, Eric Sherwood, Kajler Rask, Markus Rask, Michaela Rask, Drew Sherwood and Jane Sherwood, four great- grandchildren, Durga, Trenton, Chloe and Kenzie. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4th from 4:00-6:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 5th at 11:00AM all at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
