Frances L. Pieri, 76 of Clifton Heights, formally of Springfield, passed away on July 3, 2019. Loving mother of David (Mary) Pieri, devoted grand mom of Brittany, Joseph, Justin and David; step grandchildren, Nicholas and Drew. Also survived by siblings Tony (Pat) Pieri, Peter Pieri and Paul Pieri. After a long career with Bell Telephone, Ms. Pieri worked for many years as an early childhood educator. She served on the Delaware County Early Childhood Board, was a 16 year volunteer at Fair Acres geriatric Center. Ms. Pieri also volunteered for the RSVP “America Reads” program for 7 years. Her most proud moments were as a volunteer for many years in her grandchildren’s schools, from PreK to elementary school. She also worked for an environmental center and travelled to the local city school districts, instructing in all phases of environmental awareness. Visitation: Tuesday, 9:00 am at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Ave. Clifton Heights. Funeral Service: Tuesday, 11:00 am at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home.
