Frances M. Ervin, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana passed at 6:59 pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw, Ind. She was born on May 2, 1926 in Akron, Indiana to Gordon and Edith (Vandermark) Young. She married on Feb. of 1946 in South Bend, Ind. to Orvil J. Ervin, he preceded her in April of 1953. Frances was a homemaker as well as working for Monsanto Company in Ligonier, Ind. retiring after 22 years. She attended Harrison Center Church as well as Cook’s Chapel. In years past she had been a member of the American Legion of Ligonier. She sang for many years in the Melloaire Singing Group traveling and singing at many nursing homes. She enjoyed crocheting and making many scrubbies. Survivors and place of residence: Daughter – Ruthie and husband Terry Rookstool – Warsaw, Ind. Sons – Tom and wife Barb Ervin – Ligonier, Ind.
