Fern D. Logue, (nee Crigger), age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina. She was born in Williamson, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1989, moving from Grafton. Fern worked as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life for 15 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church, North Ridgeville and Ladies Auxiliary Post 9871 in North Ridgeville. She enjoyed visiting with her friends for Tuesday morning breakfasts and gardening. Survivors include her sons, John Runyon of Lorain, Chuck Runyon of Grafton, Mike (Renee) Logue of Cleveland, Steve (Rose) Runyon of Bowling Springs Lake, North Carolina, Charles Logue of Cleveland, David Runyon of Nova, Ernest Runyon of Grafton; daughters, Carol (Larry) Harrold of Aper, North Carolina, Alyce Walters of Elyria, Judy (Percy) Wilson of Grafton, Catherine Wilson of Louisville, Kentucky; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and brother, Clinton Crigger of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 2010; parents, Charles and Belle Crigger; brothers, Bill, Ernest and Bob Crigger; sister, Maxine Ramsey. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville., where VFW Post 9871 Auxiliary will conduct a 7PM service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Adam Hall, Pastor of Sugar Ridge Baptist will officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Twp.
