Anderson October 18, 1929 – July 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Ernest Anderson, 89, of Andalusia, passed away Tuesday July 30, 2019 at Andalusia Health. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday August 2nd from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob Madsen officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Friday. The interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Ernest served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was also a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC as well as Clemson University. After graduation he worked his entire career with John Deere Company. Mr. Anderson is survived by his son Tommy (Robin) Anderson of Birmingham; daughter Lisa (Jim) Locklier of Andalusia; three grandchildren Georgia Anderson, Patrick Anderson, and Anna Locklier; three siblings, Joe Anderson of Buford, GA, William Anderson of Hiawassee, GA and Lunette Nanny of Anderson, SC In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in his honor to First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia, AL/Restoration Fund.
