Erlina Fontanilla Santos was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines; Parents Feliciano and Felicidad Fontanilla. She graduated from the University of Santo Thomas in Manila, Philippines as a Medical Technician in 1971. Erlina proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve for 23 years, worked at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System for 29 years, and the University of Washington Medical Center for 30 years. Erlina peacefully passed away on July 24, 2019 at the age of 68 and was surrounded by all of her family. Erlina is survived by her husband of 45 years, Francisco (Anches) Santos; children Nathalie, Wilbert and Alvin; son-in-law Omar; daughters-in-law Christine and Sisi; grandchildren Makai, Marianna, Brandon, Madison and Lauren; brothers Alpin, Dresilo and Feliciano Jr. (Nonoy); and sisters Belinda, Claudina and Felicidad (Ching). Funeral Details: Thursday, August 1, 2019 – Viewing will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10001 57th Avenue South, Seattle, WA from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Rosary and Vigil at 6:00 pm. Friday, August 2, 2019 – Rosary starts at 10:00 am. Funeral mass at 11:00 am – St. Paul Catholic Church at 10001 57th Avenue South, Seattle, WA. Erlina will be laid to rest immediately after the mass at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery at 205 Northeast 205th Street, Shoreline, WA.
