She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn E. Downey and Laverne Thornton both of Oxford; two brothers, Jessie Fields and Toney Fields both of Oxford; three sisters, Deborah Cheatham of Henderson, Catherine Daniel and Bessie Smith both of Oxford; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 18 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. William A. Booth. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
