Eloise Ellison, age 92, of Bybee, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019. She was a member of Centerview Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Ellison; mother, Bernice Holt; brothers, Leon Holt, Jimmy Holt, and Earl Sneed; sisters, Hazel Reed and Josephine Luttrell. She is survived by her sons, Johnny (Geraldine) Ellison, Ricky (Debbie) Ellison, and Michael (Pam) Ellison all of Newport; sisters, Nancy Turner of Newport and Otha Mae Reed of Bybee; grandchildren, Eric (Trisha) Ellison, Barry (Vanessa) Ellison, Kristy Barnett, Lindsay Ellison, Ashley (Shane) Bower, Amanda (Jarrad) Stump, and Eliza (Erik) Cueto; eleven great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Nell Douglas; also other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Centerview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She will lie in state from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Centerview Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.
