Elizabeth “Betty” (Kane) Tobin, 97, of Westvale, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at home. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Westvale since 1988. Betty was a Navy veteran of WWII. She earned her bachelor’s degree in home economics from Syracuse University and lived in New City for 29 years while working for the Clarkstown Central School District, retiring in 1984.
