Edward P. Koslowska, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1996 and former Beacon resident, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 73 years old. He was born in Germany on March 26, 1946 and came to the United States in 1956 as a child with his sister and mother, Anna. Prior to his retirement, he was a worker at IBM in East Fishkill. After he graduated from Beacon High School he joined the Air Force in 1966. He went to Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1976 as a Sargent. He was a parishioner of St. Joachim – St. John the Evangelist Church. Edward was a loving son who helped his sister, Wanda take care of his mother, Anna Opielinska, who predeceased him in 2008. Edward is survived by his sister, Wanda Koslowska of Wappingers Falls. His sister will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon.
