Edward J. “Tinker” Spencer, age 68, of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at home. Tinker was predeceased by his parents, Frances and John; grandson, Andrew Ryan; and uncle, Floyd Bowman. Tinker is survived by his loving children, Anne (Mike Robinson) Spencer and Jason Spencer both of Elmira, NY; wife of 29 years and friend of 52 years, Priscilla “Pritzy” Spencer; sister, Linda (Frank) Frisbie; brother, Francis (Karen) Walker; sister, Bonnie of NC; grandchildren, Kaylee, Andrea, Noah, Zachary, Autumn and Cooper; great-grandchildren, Noeanna, Ryan and Kathleen; best friends, Larry Gerow, Lynn Sweet, Steve Frey, Skip Andrews, and Gary (Carolyn) Lankas of NC; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tinker served seven and a half years in the US Marine Corp as a Sergeant. Semper Fi! Ooh Rah! He was in the Amtrack Division of Camp Lejeune, NC. YAT-YAS!!! He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NHRA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Burial will be on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2 pm in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY where he will be accorded full military honors. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Edward J.
