Douglas’ Obituary Douglas Gohman, 94, of Berlin, ND, passed away Saturday morning, July 27, 2019 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND. Douglas was born September 30, 1924, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Frank and Anne (Eiten) Gohman. He was raised and educated in the Minneapolis area and moved to North Dakota to help his uncle on the farm. Eventually Douglas purchased a farm southwest of Berlin, ND. He and Esther Stroh were married on March 20, 1948 at LaMoure, ND. They made their home on the farm and was a long-time member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley. Douglas enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting and fishing. Esther passed away on October 15, 2012. Douglas is survived by five children, Brenda Radermacher, Bismarck, ND, Steve Gohman, West Fargo, ND, Mike Gohman, LaMoure, ND, Don (Jodi) Gohman, Brandon, SD, and Julie Ireland, Jamestown; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one son, Scott; one grandson, Wade Radermacher; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Otis, and Lewis; sisters, Adeline, Eleanore, Donna, and Betty; and son-in-law, Gene Radermacher. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Edgeley. Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Edgeley.
