Douglas Charles Bush, 62, of Burlington, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, in Burlington. Born December 2, 1956, in Manchester, IA, he was the son of Homer James and Dorothy Mae Poulton Bush. He worked as a laborer in construction. He attended Burlington Community High School. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR racing. He was a Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees fan. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy of Burlington; life companion, Lisa Dameron of Burlington; four sisters, Cindi Bush of Concord, NH, Vikki Christy of Pinehurst, NC, Kathy (Larry) Utt of Mishawaka, IN, and Cris Glasgow of Burlington; two brothers, Steve (Joy) Bush of Phoenix, AZ, and Mike (Kim) Bush of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. There will be no formal visitation or services.
