Dorothy’s Obituary Funeral services for Dorothy Rowley Ladner, 93, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Rev. Dan Perry officiating. Burial will be at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Dexter, MS. Mrs. Ladner passed away at her residence in Tylertown, Mississippi on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was born March 10, 1926 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Lottie and Jim Rowley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Ladner; sister Juanita Reagan Harvey; and brother Richard Ladner. Mrs. Dorothy was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She retired as a cafeteria worker from Dexter Attendance Center. Dorothy enjoyed mowing, yard work, and baking. Survivors include her children James (Sue) Miller and Mary Fortenberry; grandchildren Jon (Jennifer) Miller, Jorge Miller, and Charlotte (Eric) Bedwell; and great-grandchildren Gabe Miller, McKenna Miller, Jonathan Miller, Karley Miller, and Ellie Miller. Pallbearers are Jon Miller, Jorge Miller, Gabe Miller, Jonathan Miller, John Mord, and Jimmy Lowery. Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 PM. Read More
