Dorothy Baker English May 14, 1931 – July 16, 2019 Dorothy Baker English, 88 of Huntersville Oaks Rehab Center in Huntersville, NC died Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at her residence. Born in Charleston, WV May 14, 1931 she was the daughter of the parents who raised her, Bessie Black Montgomery and her husband Curley. She retired as a Clerical Supervisor for Housing Preservation and Development for the City of New York. She was a graduate of Genoa High School in Bluefield, WV. In addition to her parents her husband, Henry English; one daughter, Deborah English; two sisters, Virginia Ferguson and Christine Boling and two brothers, Lawrence Boling and Paul Boling preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Murray, Jr. and wife Gwendolyn of Harrisburg, NC and Mark Murray of Syracuse, NY; three grandchildren, Damon Murray and wife Precious, Lattrice Kersey and husband Jerry and Maliek Murray and one sister, Betty Cheatham of Columbus, OH. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Dorothy will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Bishop Dwight Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Littlesburg, WV. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 12:00 Noon to the service hour on Saturday.
