Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Arline Drew, 92, of Collinsville, TX, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 on a little farm in Collinsville where she lived for most of the last 50 years. She was born August 25, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to Ralph Jack and Dorothy Ann (Harris) McGlynn. Dorothy married Robert Cundiff who preceded her in death on January 23, 1978. She married James Drew in August of 1987 and he preceded her in death on Novemer 18, 1995. Dorothy farmed various plots of land in Tioga, TX. She worked at the Hitching Post in Gainesville, TX cooking nights and at a little cafe in Collinsville for years. Dorothy, our Dor as some knew her, enjoyed taking sewing and quilting classes. She took the traditional embroidery techniques of smocking and hen-scratch to an art level when she made clothes for her grandchildren. She loved watching them swim in the backyard pool and making banana drinks. Her favorite shows were Law & Order, Perry Mason, and Texas Walker Ranger and she had a passion for collecting shoes and buttons. She is survived by her children, Bill and Ina Cundiff of Collinsville, Linda Wiseman of Collinsville, Shelly and Hank Bailey of Madill, OK, Audie and Linda Cundiff of Collinsville, Tina Vandervort of Ontario, NY, Annette and Rusty Schleifer of Collinsville, and Beth and Dean Bowling of Sherman, TX; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Koljack of Venus, FL and Bonnie Selin of Aloha, OR. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Roberta Betancourt; brother, Robert; and sister, Marty.
