Donna Jean Oberman, 81, of Oberman Street, Saxton, Pennsylvania; passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born on July 29, 1937 in Hesston, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Frank E. and Alma L. (Buseck) Starr. On September 21, 1956 at the Methodist Church in Marklesburg she was united in marriage to Thomas F. “Blair” Oberman; he preceded her in death on May 8, 2017. She is survived by children Gary Oberman married to Tina, Saxton, PA; Kathy married to John Dively, New Enterprise, PA; Cindy Hinkle, Saxton, PA and Donna Marie Oberman, Saxton, PA; daughter-in-law Vicki Oberman; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; siblings Linda Neuder married to Tim, Cooks, PA; Sandra Roland married to Bill, James Creek, PA and Carol Eller married to Levi, Marble City, PA. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by son Stephen Oberman; sister Betty (Starr) Brumbaugh and husband Stanley, and brother Millard Starr and wife Barb. Donna helped to take care of the Saxton First Church of God where she was a member and taught Sunday School for many years as well. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Bible reader. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Fockler Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Musser officiating. If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Oberman to the Saxton First Church of God, 1018 6th St, Saxton, PA 16678.
