Debra Ann (Steele) Lockett, age 60, of Milton, Florida was born in Lafayette, LA on June 3, 1959 to Howard Steele and Mary Archield (Steele), but raised in DeRidder, LA. She attended and graduated from DeRidder High School in 1977, and one year of business tech school. She married the love of her life, Pierre Lockett, in June 1998. They have 3 children together. She became a member of True Apostolic Church of Capital Heights, MD in 1996. She was baptized in Jesus name and received the holy ghost in July 1997. For the next 9 years, she served as the secretary of TAC, until the Lockett family moved in 2006 to Florida. They joined First Apostolic Church, where she served on the hostess, hospitality and clothing ministries. Debra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and child of God. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Pierre Lockett; her children: Marcus D. Steele, James Steele (deceased), Kanassa S. Steele and Mariah K. Lockett; her grandchildren: Ayanna M. Steele, Christian M. Steele and JaNessa Steele; her parents, Mary and Ewell (stepfather) Archield; her sibilings: Howard Steele Jr. (deceased) (Joyce), Anthony Steele, Angela Archield, Quincy Archield (Gail), Cecely Buckley (Hosea) and Corwin Archield (Wanda); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 6-7:00 p.m., with service to follow at 7:00 p.m., at First Apostolic Church of Milton.
