David Allen Grubb 46 of Piketon passed from this life 6:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born Jun 25, 1973 in Chillicothe the son of Dave Grubb and the late Rose M. Sims Grubb. On June 23, 2001 he married the former Karen S. Haag, who survives. He is also survived by his children, David Michael Grubb and Mari-ann Makenzie Grubb; sisters, Tammy (Andy) Watson and Brigit (Paul) Hall; brothers, Dwayne (Diana) Gillingham, Tim Gillingham, Tony Gillingham and Chris Grubb (Jenna Holsinger); father-in-law, Ronald Lykins; brother-in-law, Robert (Glenda) Lykins and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his mother, Rose, David was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Margie Lykins. David loved to mow grass, mushroom hunt and drink coffee. Funeral services will be 12 pm Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Pastor Jeff May officiating. Burial will follow in the New Fain Cemetery, Peebles. Friends may visit with David’s family from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
