ST.PAUL, VIRGINIA – Cornelia A. Turner, 84, died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at her home. She was born in Castlewood, Virginia; daughter of the late Samuel and Alta Smith Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Turner; one daughter, Pamela Tolliver; three brothers, Marvin Amos, Bernard Amos, and Thurman Amos; two sisters, Vivian Moran and Mozelle Higgins; special niece, Catherine McKinney; and special nephew, Kenny Higgins. She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Holbrook and husband, Danny of St. Paul, Virginia and Rita Turner Russell of St. Paul, Virginia; one son, Randall C. Turner of St. Paul, Virginia; four grandchildren, Brittany Russell Belcher, Kara Beth Holbrook, Amy Lynne Holbrook and Stephanie Hyman; one great grandchild, Harper Osborne; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Cornelia A. Turner will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Ted Phillips officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Marvin Amos Jr., Tony Amos, Stevie Amos, Roger Amos, Jeff Amos and Guy Amos. Honorary Pallbearer will be Frankie Kevin Turner. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
