Cheraw, SC Mrs. Connie Brigman Hancock, age 60, entered into rest on Thursday, July 25, 2019. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Monday, July 29, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Doug Anderson with burial to follow in the Hancock Family Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hancock was born December 18, 1958 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Fred and Doris Folk Brigman. She was a homemaker and a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Connie was a true people person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Connie was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Russell Gause, Sr.; and sister, Deborah Lynn Jacobs. Survivors include her husband, Karl E. Hancock of the home; children, Keisha Gause, Russell “Rutt” Gause, and Tonya Gause (Shuford) Quick all of Wallace, SC; grandchildren, Destany, Makayla, K.J., ‘Lil Rutt, Karlie, Jaylen, and Will; brothers, Freddie Ray (Betty) Brigman of Loris, SC, and Steve (Margie) Brigman of Wallace, SC.
