Christopher M. “Mike” Hatlay, age 41 of Clyde, passed away after a battle with cancer Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his home. Mike was born January 7, 1978 in Fremont the son of Ralph Fisher and Ruth Keegan (Hatlay). Mike was a loving father whom may have been a little rough around the edges, but had a good heart. He was an avid Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and Red Bull fan. Mike also loved rock n’ roll music and was a talented guitarist and drummer. His favorite bands were Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest. He particularly loved the song “The Wicker Man” by Iron Maiden. Mike is survived by his mother; fiancée and best friend, Tammy Good of Clyde; children: Zoey Hatlay, Christopher Hatlay, Zachary Hatlay, and Jakob Hatlay, all of Clyde; siblings: Richard Hatlay, Rene Ridgeway (Hatlay), and Scotty Hatlay, all of Clyde; uncles: David, Jimmy, Ricky, and Gary Hatlay, all of Clyde; aunt, Terry Curless of Tiffin; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Doyle and Helen Hatlay; aunt, Carolyn Fazio; and cousin, Traci Whitt-Norman. Services will be held privately.
