Christopher’s Obituary Christopher L. Cornman, age 49, of White Township, died on June 5, 2019, while under the compassionate care of the Woodlands Unit of St. Andrew’s Village, as the final consequence of a life-altering two-vehicle accident in 1995. He was born in Indiana Hospital in 1969 to parents Randy and Becky Mogle Cornman of White Township who survive him and have been his major life advocates for the past 24 years. Chris had a number of jobs after graduating from Indiana High School in 1988, the last being with S.W. Jack Drilling Company ending in 1995. He had also worked for Union Drilling. Chris liked working on the rigs and being part of a crew that would “bust it.” He had little time for slackers. He enjoyed motorcycle riding hunting, fishing, playing pick-up softball, and maybe swimming at TwoLick with friends. He always liked and had time for little kids. He is survived by his daughter Taylor Lynn Cornman and her young son Levi of the Indiana area. Other surviving family members are his sister Kimberly (Brian) Bartsch of Shaler Township, nephew Justin Manning and his young sons Maxwell and Bennett of Altoona, nephew Jacob Manning and niece Jenna Manning of Allegheny County. His sole surviving grandparent is Peggy Mogle of White Township. He is also survived by an aunt, two uncles, and their spouses as well as cousins in Kansas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, South Carolina, and Texas. Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandfather D. Gene Mogle and wife Genevieve of White Township, his paternal grandparents Roy and Roberta Cornman of Center Township, and Uncle Dave Mogle of Boswell. There will be no viewing or visitation. There will be a graveside interment service in the Greenwood Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Douglas Snyder at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Bowser-Minich is in charge of final arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Village, 1155 Indian Springs Road, Indiana, PA 15701, or Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1656 Old Route 119 Highway North, Indiana, PA 15701.
