Elder Charlie Jackson Pewitt, Jr., 88 of Centerville, passed from this life to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He was born in Franklin, Tennessee on June 8, 1931. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Pewitt of Centerville. Sons Wayne Pewitt of Nashville and Jacob Pewitt of Centerville. Daughter Jennifer Pewitt of Orlando, Florida. Two Granddaughters, one step-granddaughter, and 1 great-grandchild. Sister Mildred Fitzpatrick of Gulf Shores, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Jackson Pewitt, Sr. and Lela Cartwright Pewitt. Sisters: Paula Lynn, Elizabeth Sewell, Rachael Pewitt, and Margie Winishut. Mr. Pewitt was an Honorable Naval Korean War Veteran. He served four tours in Korea. He worked at Stauffer Chemical Company in Nashville and was President of Pewitt and Chevault Roofing Company in Orlando, Florida. He was a minister in Orlando and in Taft, Florida
