Charles Dale Bowles of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on November 13, 1957, a son to Edna Joyce (Bowles) Dodson and the late Johnny Goodson. Charles passed away on July 23, 2019 at his residence having reached sixty -one years of age. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Bowles-Owens; mother, Edna Joyce Dodson; brothers: Gary (Michelle) Bowles and Roger Dodson; step-siblings: Sherry (Tim) Watson, Phyllis Cook, Rocky (Mary) Goodson, and Johnny (Margie) Goodson; two grandchildren; and many dear aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Goodson; step-father, Leon Lyman Dodson; brother, Vondel “Red” Dodson; and brother-in-law, Darrel Cook. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A funeral service to honor Charles will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at Wright Family Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
