Charles Arthur Lutz – age 80 of Farwell, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 14, 2019. He was born in Toledo, OH on August 30, 1938. Charles was a grocer from the time he was 16 years of age and stayed in the industry until his eventual retirement from the Farm Fresh merchandising team following 15 years with the company. He was an avid sports fan with some of his favorite teams including the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Lions and the Boston Celtics. He enjoyed Nascar and was a member of multiple bowling team leagues. Charles is survived by his wife Kathy Lutz, his sons; Richard Lutz, Steve Lutz; Bryan Lutz and his wife Jen, Dusty Lutz and his wife Wendy, Jefferey Lutz and his wife Renata, his daughter Karla Katona and her husband Richard, as well as 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Charles Ray Lutz and his parents Ivan Charles and Pauline Lutz. Visitation will be held at the Campbell Stocking Family Funeral Home in Farwell from 4-7 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
