Carol A. Cole, 76, of Boaz, Alabama died Friday, July 19, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South. Mrs. Cole was born on June 30, 1943 to Adron & Burma Hammock in Birmingham, Alabama. She is survived by her step-sons Dawlon Cole of Georgia and Gary Cole of Georgia; step-daughters Ruby Jean Ward of Sardis, Norma Elliot of Gadsden, Jeanice King of Tennessee, Jan White of Hokes Bluff, Sandra Howell of Hokes Bluff, and Shelia Lynn Washburn of Hokes Bluff; brother Dearil Hammock of Boaz; sister Donnie Hall of Boaz, and nieces Leigh Kerr, Charlcie Thibodaux, Marilyn Watts, and Angie Fortson. She joins her husband John Cole and step-son Dwight Cole in death. Pallbearers will be Shawn Kerr, Jason Thibodaux, Owen Thibodaux, Thomas Hard, Michael Kerr, Daniel Kerr, Joshua Kerr, and Jason Daniel Watts. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Cole. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ricky Harcrow officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
