Carmen was born on November 6, 2001 in Columbia. She served as a student apprentice at Grace Church of the Nazarene and attended Bridge Church. A true servant’s heart, Carmen had the desire to serve people in need and had dreams of going to school to become a missionary after graduation. She worked as a lifeguard at Graymere Country Club and Muletown Rec. Carmen was a committed student and was academically at the top of her class. She was striving to become Valedictorian of her graduating class next year. She served on the swim team and tennis team, was an active member of Best Buddies, was actively involved in HOSA, a member of the Collegiate Academy, and many other extracurricular activities at Columbia Central High School. Carmen made the most of her life and lived it to the absolute fullest. She cared strongly about others and made a point to give her time to those who were most important to her. She will be remembered most by her love for God, beautiful smile, and giving attitude. In addition to her parents, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, her siblings: Roman McMillan, Clara McMillan, and Jacklyn McMillan; step mother Patricia McMillan; paternal grandfather: Ron (Donna) McMillan; maternal grandparents: José Basoa Lopez and Carmen Maneiro Romero; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
