Brian Alan Fugate October 29, 1968 – July 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Brian Alan Fugate, age 50, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday evening, (July 22, 2019) at his home. He was born on October 29, 1968 in Daviess County, KY, the son of Carolyn Escue Fugate and the late Jerry Fugate. He was a former engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad who enjoyed beekeeping, hunting, fishing and collecting Indian artifacts. He was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church in Newburg, IN. He is survived by a son, Keenan Fugate; and a daughter, Kassidy Fugate both of Booneville, IN; a sister, Carrie Browning (Paul) of Greenbrier, TN; a niece, Marissa Browning of Greenbrier, TN; and his mother, Carolyn Fugate of Leitchfield. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Fugate. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (July 25, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wendell Sandefur will be officiating. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
