Brenda Kaye “Barbour” Berry, 58, of Stanford, KY passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born December 7, 1960 in Palos Hills, IL to Lou Ellen Byrd of Stanford, KY and the late Richard Matthew Louis Barbour, she was the widow of the late Mike Berry. She was a former employee of Durham’s Grocery where she worked as a cashier, and attended Calvary Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Melissa Willett of Columbia, MO, and Sebrina Knouse of Stanford, KY; one brother, David Barbour of Georgia; three sisters, Tammy Durham (Chuck) of Moreland, KY, Lori Denney of Lancaster, KY, and Kim Browning of Stanford, KY; seven grandchildren, Joshua Coddington, Alexis Knouse, Peyton Peterson, Adalyn Peterson, Landen Peterson, Mikey Peterson, and Carter Willett; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Keith Barbour, Glenn Barbour, and Butchie Barbour; and one sister, Krista Barbour. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be 11am Friday, July 26, 2019 at the funeral home with Bro. Dustin York officiating. Burial will follow at Berry Hollow Cemetery in Stanford.
