Bonnie L. Blood, 85 of Conneaut passed away Monday July 1, 2019 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. July 1st marked her 67th anniversary to her beloved husband Bryce who passed away in 2016. She was born July 12, 1933 in Conneaut, Ohio. She was the daughter of Harold and Emily (Jones) Nickels. Bonnie worked for American Greeting Cards as a card stocker at the retail stores. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening, traveling and flowers. Bonnie belonged to the doll club in Conneaut. Survivors include her children, Greg (Bonnie) Blood of Conneaut, Stacie (James) Shahan of Geneva and Cynthia (Mark) Paul of Fairlawn, Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; sister, Jean Kennedy of Brunswick. She was preceded in death by her husband Bryce; sister Nancy Nielsen and a sister in law, Shirley Sippola. A private family graveside service will be held at East Conneaut Cemetery with Pastor Tim Kraus officiating. Contributions in memory of Bonnie may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
