Billie Berry Kirk, age 84, of Johnson City, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Elmcroft of Johnson City. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William Noble and Kathryn Peters Berry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul Randall Kirk; sister, Loretta Berry. Survivors include her daughter, Tamara Kirk Oglesby and husband Robert (Bob); three sons, Michael James Kirk and wife Nancy, Robert William Kirk and wife Kelley, and Paul Randall Kirk, Jr.; two sisters, Pamela Berry Walsh and husband Charlie, and Gail Berry Edwards; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Kirk will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service in the chapel. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at Lee Memorial Park, Pennington Gap, Virginia at 3:00 P.M Wednesday, July 10. Those who wish to attend the graveside service is asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:50 P.M. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Avalon Hospice 208 Sunset Dr., Ste 340, Johnson City, TN 37604.
