Billie’s Obituary Survivors include One son, Robert Dampier of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters, Rebecca Adams and her husband Steve of Neosho, MO and Catherine Dampier of Concrete, WA; two sisters, Gail Weimer of Fayetteville, TN and Debby Delmore of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Ryan Sweet, Morgan Sweet and her husband Matt Harris, Carly Pierson and her husband Scott and Ross Adams and his wife Kelly; eight great-grandchildren, Cyrus, Sage, Saffron, and Henry Sweet, Paisley and Taygen Goodfellow, George Pierson and Parker Adams; special friends, Bert and Pat Dampier and Thena Dampier; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by Her parents; her husband Denny on January 11, 2013; one brother, Lionel Alton; and one sister, Susan Maxine Delmore. Memorials have been suggested to Country Music Hall of Fame or Parkinson’s Disease and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, MO 65536. At her request, her body is to be cremated following the funeral service. Burial will be at a later date. Read More
