Betty’s Obituary Betty K. Altenbaumer, age 65, of Wake Village, went home to be with the Lord, July 28, 2019. She was a member of Circle J Cowboy Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Pauline Johnston, and brothers, Wayne Johnston, Jerry Johnston, and Donald Johnston. Survivors include her loving husband of forty-eight years, Albert Altenbaumer; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcy and Mike Applebaum of Wake Village and Ashley and Steven Burden of Liberty Eylau; two grandsons, their spouses, Dustin and Lindsay Martin and Colbey Martin and Morgan Misseldine; one step-grandson and his wife, Michael and Faith Applebaum; two granddaughters, Gracey Burden and Hannah Burden; three sisters, Marcy Turner of Texarkana, Wanda Ford of Ashdown and Barbara Ford of Texarkana; two sisters-in-law, Pat Johnston of Texarkana and Jackie Johnston of Fouke; brother-in-law and his wife, John and Maria Altenbaumer of San Antonio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Betty was loved by all who knew her and always had a smile on her face. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Polomsky and Bro.
