Bartholomew’s Obituary Bartholomew James Cipolla, 72, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 under the compassionate care of AdventHealth Palm Coast. He was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, on October 23, 1946, a son of the late Bartalow F. and Shirley Scholfield Cipolla. Bartholomew graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in Illinois and then in 1966 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He honorably served his country, retiring in 1988. Bartholomew was a Life member of the following Veteran Organizations: Winter Springs VFW Post #5405, Casselberry Veterans and Inc., American Veterans AMVETS Post #13, and Disabled American Veterans. Also, he was a member of the American Legion, the Elks of Palm Coast and a Dual member of Houghton Lake Moose Lodge #1616 and the Palm Coast Moose Lodge #2577, Governor of Moose Lodge of Palm Coast, Fellow of the Moose, a dual member of the fraternal Order of Eagles 3201 in Houghton Lake, MI and the fraternal Order of Eagles in Winter Springs, FL, and he enjoyed golf and bowling. Bartholomew is survived by his beloved wife of 23+ years, Loretta A. Nigg Cipolla; two sons, Brian Cipolla and his wife Danielle of Folsom, CA and Nicholas Cipolla of Santa Maria, CA; one Brother Michael Cipolla and his wife Carol of Arlington Heights, IL; two sisters, Mary Therese DeVito and her husband Bob of Palm Coast, FL, Cheryl Santomauro and her husband Norman of Bartlett, IL; two grandchildren, Logan and Parker Cipolla of Folsom, CA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bartholomew was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Therese Cipolla and a brother, Patrick Cipolla. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
