Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Ann Meeks 74, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Family Care Center in Kingston. She was born May 16, 1945 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Verna Lanton. Barbara was raised in Columbus where she attended school and graduated. She married Randal (Randy) Meeks on September 6, 1963 in Columbus. They moved to Madill in 1980 and in 1988 opened and operated The Bar B Q Pit. After they retired, they opened and operated the Madill Coin Laundry. Barbara enjoyed scrapbooking and working in her flower beds and she loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Barbara is survived by Husband: Randy Meeks, Kingston, Oklahoma Children: Regina Meeks, Ft. Smith, Arkansas John Meeks and wife Jessica, Madill, Oklahoma Teri Thomas and husband John, Roff, Oklahoma Mark Meeks and wife Kelsey, Silo, Oklahoma Grandchildren: Larissa, Kayla, Kirsty, Kourtnee, Jessi, Lyndsey, JR., Zac, Sara, Mason, Jariah and Magalie.
